The Dollhouse
Short animation
Dollhouse is a short horror/mystery story about the bond between two sisters, and a supernatural mystery. With this project, I want to create a story with a twist ending revealed through the sisters’ playthings, that would hopefully send a chill down your spine. Making use of a slow pace and movements, as well as differences in tone and music to add an unexpected and chilling revelation to an innocent beginning
Character Design
The character design is intended to be minimal and anatomically accurate. Additionally, the palette for the design are colors that you'd typically find in children's toys and clothes, with an overall pink theme.

For the character development, I practiced drawing toddlers, and tested out different designs. Meanwhile, for the mother character, I wanted a simple suburban mom design, but with a little mystery.
